Strategic Planning

Identifying your school’s ‘Why’ and developing practical and achievable ways to action this vision is critical to your school’s success.  As an ex-Headmaster and member of multiple School Board of Trustee’s, Craig has many years of experience planning, developing and actioning a number of successful strategic plans.  This strategic planning process is one where all areas of the school community are considered and given the opportunity to provide input into the final strategic direction of the school.  Whether you are starting from scratch or reviewing your current vision, Craig can assist in facilitating the review and rebuilding of your whole school strategy, mission and value proposition in a way that supports and promotes your unique school ethos.

“ALWAYS START AT THE END,

BEFORE YOU BEGIN.”

– Robert Kiyosaki

This facilitation process normally takes place over a weekend retreat where members of the leadership team and Board Members are all able to attend

WHO ARE THESE SESSIONS AIMED AT?

Boards of Trustees, Governors and the leadership teams of the School.

WHAT DO THE SESSIONS CONSIST OF?

This facilitation process aims at identifying and building on a schools vision and mission to ultimately provide an actionable and measurable strategic plan for the school.  This plan is normally put in place for a period of 3 to 5 years.

WHY ARE THESE SKILLS IMPORTANT?

This strategic plan allows for both the Boards and Management of your school to have clarity on the role of Governance vs that of Operation.  By having a clear strategy in place Boards are able to measure the success of the schools operational aspects in direct relation to the vision they have put in place for the school.

HOW LONG DO THESE SESSIONS LAST?

These sessions normally take place off site and can be either a day or two days long depending on the requirements of the school.
