Well Being Education

School Leader, Teacher and Student wellbeing is a critical aspect of the success of our Schools.  This fun and interactive workshop looks at the stress response and the various ways it is activated in a school setting.  We then explore a range of simple and effective strategies to address the day to day stressors we face at school.  This course includes the introduction of a number of easy to use tools including Bensons Relaxation Response, Mindfulness and Anchoring as well as looking at the role of exercise and social support in helping us deal with the day to day stress of our roles.

These training sessions can be tailored to suit your school’s available time frames and ranges from a 2 hour session to a half day workshop.

WHO ARE THESE SESSIONS AIMED AT?

School Leaders and Teachers who are looking to understand the role that stress plays in a school context.  The workshop aims to expand teachers knowledge of the role of stress in the workplace and how they can effectively deal with it as well as teach themselves and their students strategies to cope in the long run.

WHAT DO THE SESSIONS CONSIST OF?

During these sessions Teachers will develop an understanding of the stress response as well as ways that they can manage the day to day stressors we face in our schools.  Teachers will leave this workshop with practical easy to use strategies which will enable them to deal more easily with stress.

By developing these well being practices teachers are able to boost their energy levels, manage their emotions and improve their own well being.
